NC TLC Trust latest news and thank you’s

The charity has been very busy over the last month, with lots of donations coming in and events to organise, after our robbery last month we have had lots of well wishes and support and we thank you all for that.

Moving on to a brighter note, the charity have a fundraising event this month being held at the Old Swan here in Earls Barton, we mentioned this in our article last month but in case you have forgotten, it is our fancy dress 80’s themed night being held on the 8th September from 8pm – late. (more details on our Facebook page).

Also this month on the 10th September Tony and Neil will be taking part in the 5 Nations cycle ride Scotland, Northern Ireland, Ireland, Wales and returning to England, they are hoping to accomplish this over 9 days, we are all confident that they will accomplish this amazing challenge and wish you both all the best, look forward to photos and catching up with you on your return.

Do you shop online? Give as you Live is a website that enables you to shop at your normal online retailers and can earn the charity money at no extra cost to yourselves, that’s right, Money for FREE!

All you need to do is register with Give as you Live and chose NC TLC Trust as your chosen charity. Please show us your support in helping these kids and their families.

Our London to Surrey riders completed their challenge and all crossed the line together, supporting and encouraging each other along the way, so far, they have raised an amazing £1827 with more still to come, we would like to thank Martin, Gary, Amanda and Nicky for doing this for us and to all those who sponsored and supported them along the way.

The Car Shop in Northampton have been raising money for us over several months and have so far raised a combined total of £3088.70, Thank you to all the staff and customers for their great efforts raising this amount.

Thank you to Chameleon Hair Design for the donations for the Yule Ball, these were 2 x £30 Gel nail vouchers and some beautiful hair products. Also thank you to Chris Clements for the switches and the video intercom, also for the charity ball next month.

An anonymous donation of £50 was made to us, you know who you are and we thank you. Thank you, George Hall cycles who donated, £200.

Thank you, Caring Kindergartens, for the donation of £1557 that was raised by the parents and staff, over all 6 nursery settings during their recent Treasure Hunt fundraising event, they are also supporting us in the upcoming months.



Thank you to Results Global for a further £75 donation and to Jay waterman for his £50 donation. Thank you to BMW for another donation of £37.51 raised through their coffee shop.

A huge thank you to Sean Hogan, family, friends and their local community for raising an incredible £7000 in loving memory of Teresa Hogan, who sadly died from Cancer. They hosted a charity event and prize draw at the Kingsley Park Working Men’s Club on the 8th July 2017. Her memory lives on through their incredible work for our families. Sean has requested that the money raised goes towards our target of £26k to send our families to Disneyland Paris this November for their fantasy Christmas break.

Finally, we would like to remind you of the charity ball on 21st October, please show your support by purchasing tickets, the evening is set to be full of entertainment and maybe a few surprises along the way.
