March 2019 Newsletter

The new year is proving to be a very busy one for the NC TLC. The 4th of February was World Cancer Day, a day to encourage awareness, prevention and treatment for cancers. Our founder/operations director Janet Walker-Smith was in attendance at Tesco in Wellingborough with Stand at Tescoour stand, raising awareness of childhood cancers, the NC TLC Trust and what we do to support families in need. We love and support all of our children and families going through cancer and hope to see a day when childhood cancers can be beaten. If you would like to donate to our charity, please visit https://www.goldengiving.com/wall/nctlc-trust to make a single or regular donation or through our website www.nctlctrust.com. Our families are in crisis and they need your help.

In 2019, we have many exciting events lined up to create a year full of memories for our warriors and princesses! One major event that is kicking off our calendar is the London Marathon on the 28th April 2019. Our amazing runner Ricardo Malvaez has been training incredibly hard, in all weather conditions to get fighting fit for the gruelling 26 mile race through London! Ricardo has stated his reason Ricardo Trainingfor running, ‘For as long as I can remember, fitness and sports have been a big part of my life. When I made the decision to start running, it was not easy but I had an end goal in mind. Now it is the time for our children to achieve their goals and be able to live a healthy life full of love and happiness’. The NC TLC Trust is with you all the way Ricardo! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for running for our families. If you would like to help Ricardo reach his £2000.00 goal for the NC TLC, please donate to uk.virginmoneygiving.com/RicardoMalvaez1. All proceeds from Ricardo’s fundraising come directly to your local children’s cancer charity the NC TLC Trust!
