July Newsletter 2019

The NC TLC Trust has been very busy the last couple of months. We are so pleased to announce that our amazing runners, Ricardo Malvaez and Niki Pinney, have raised a total of £2481.00 between them for the charity. Thank you so much to you both, your dedication and support to our cause has been invaluable.

We had a few excellent events in May. A big thank you goes out to Ricardo and Niki who raised a further £850.00 for the charity by hosting a Disco with excellent music at the Working Men’s Club in Finedon. The evening was a great success and we thoroughly enjoyed attending.

We would like to thank Judy Webb from the Rotary Club of Rushden Chichele for making the NC TLC Trust one of their beneficiaries from their FunFest this year. Funfest happened on the 19th of May this year and was an event to please the entire family. There were stalls, BBQ, children’s entertainment and so much more. The NC TLC Trust also had the funds donated by David Kendrick of the Rotary Club, which allowed us to enter a team on behalf of the charity into this year’s It’s a Knockout. We would like to thank all of the members of our team, Becky Rice, Louise Hopper, Niki Thompson (Pinney), Helen Youdan, Sarah Millet, Jill Gadd, Hayley Daniels, Sean Baldry, Ruth Smith and Alison Pearson for signing up to participate in this fun-filled event! You have helped make a difference in the lives of our warriors and princesses. We would also like to thank our Ambassador Steve Pateman for handing out the winners’ trophies at It’s A Knockout. We really appreciate your involvement and commitment to the charity.

We would also like to welcome Steve Pateman as a Trustee of the NC TLC Trust. Steve’s advice has been very valuable to the Trust and we look forward to continuing to work with him as our Ambassador and now as a member of our Board of Trustees. Welcome aboard Steve!

They donated a Cobblers signed football to the charity and they also donated two tickets to the Cobblers for a selected Sky Football League match at the PTS Academy Stadium. Thank you to the hospitality shown to Janet Walker-Smith, our founder, at the evening event. It was a beautiful evening!
